Parsons Green

This tiny, sun soaked roof terrace needed completely refurbishing to transform it into an attractive and useable space. Aesthetically it was very tatty and drainage issues were resulting in it becoming a giant puddle in wet weather. The clients wanted to be able to take advantage of this private, albeit small, outside space and use it to BBQ and entertain friends. We adjusted the levels of the roof before re-surfacing it using a crisp ceramic tile. The existing railing structure was sound so this was refurbished and re-clad with horizontal slats of Iroko. Bespoke window boxes planted with Lavender were fitted to the outside of the railings, saving precious space and creating more more secluded feel without blocking the view of the park beyond. New down lighting was recessed into the walls and the built in corner bench was fitted with led strip lighting. A bespoke Iroko and Limestone unit houses the current gas BBQ.
